Our Wellbutrin lawsuit investigation began in June 2010, when an Article published in the American journal of obstetrics and Gynecology showed that women who used the antidepressant Wellbutrin in the first trimester of pregnancy have an increased risk of giving birth to a baby with a heart defect. This study suggests that risk of some of these birth defects are doubled when Wellbutrin is used in the first trimester of pregnancy. Other antidepressants such as Paxil, Prozac, Zoloft, Celexa, Effexor, and Lexapro have also been linked to increase of birth defects.
